Grand Champion
Dion was my Grand Champion Steer at the 2024 Dickson County Spring Festival — the biggest win of my show career so far. A fellow exhibitor took home Reserve Grand Champion that same day. I also showed him at the Henry County Fair that year.
Getting Dion show-ready meant a lot of early mornings washing and conditioning him, plus plenty of barn chores in between. Winning Grand Champion didn’t happen by accident — it was the payoff of months of the same routine: feed, wash, walk, repeat.
